MMA training requires an abundance of protein as does muscle building itself. Protein is a very important aspect of muscle building because protein is comprised of amino acids which are the building blocks of muscle. There are many different ways to get the protein you need, but rest assured, all MMA fighters and anyone hoping to build muscle needs protein because muscle cannot be built without protein.
Experts have labeled protein as the single most important aspect of an MMA training regimen. Other supplements that are important to fighters include Fish Oil, Multi-Vitamin, NO2, Glucosamine (for joints), glutamine, and calcium.
