Anytime you try to alter your body, you have to take the whole system into consideration, because what you do to one part can affect other parts. Your ultimate success, whether you are trying to lose weight or gain muscle and strength (or both), depends on how well the system works after you’ve changed something. You have to understand how Creatine or Amino Acids will alter your body chemistry and how you can use that to alter it in the way you want.

I wouldn’t even consider trying to pack on the weight I need or strength for an upcoming strongman event without using some sort of amino supplement. They really do help keep the body in an anabolic state. I noticed in the past that if I take them often throughout the day, I feel like I have a better response from the heavy training. I also feel like I have a faster recovery time. Definitely an important supplement, one of the most important in my book.
